We started breeding Burmese cats in the year 2000. We have passionately bred and shown them around New Zealand and Australia, with many successes, including National Supreme winners in both New Zealand and Australia on multiple occasions.
We are located in Wanganui, New Zealand.
We have always had a passion for Pugs, but had never thought about breeding them.
We purchased our first pet Pug in 2013 and from there the passion for the breed has grown.
It was never our intention to breed them originally, but as time went on, the passion for that grew.
We had no intention of showing them originally, we were more passionate about people being able to love the breed like we do, and having healthy Pugs. We have now started learning about Dog Showing and are doing some entry level shows to learn what it is all about.
Our Pugs are pets first, and they are not in kennels. They are part of our family and sleep inside with us.
When we DNA tested our pugs for breeding, 2 out of three of them were carriers or PDE. I realised then that breeders were not doing the responsible thing and DNA testing their dogs prior to breeding.
We have made it a priority for our breeding program, and will only breed with Pugs that have been DNA tested.
They are tested through either UC Davis in USA or Animal Genetics in USA.
We now have some beautiful DOGS NZ registered Pugs and we are excited to introduce them, along with our Pug family to you!
